Authentic Mercury-Tin Amalgam Mirror: The glass exhibits the highly sought-after, classic "liquid-wave" distortion near the bottom edge. This unmistakable, watery reflection is a definitive signature of the historic tin-mercury backing process used prior to mass-market chemical silvering. Original Stenciled Backing: The reverse features a prominent, historic stencil stamp reading "No. 3 AM. PLATE."
